This page displays all the details of the selected banner. There are 5 tables on this page and their functions are listed below:

  • The 'Banner Details' table displays the basic information of the banner. Its rows represent:
     
    • Banner ID / Banner name:
      This is the selected banner's ID and name.
       
    • For advertiser:
      This is the name of the advertiser who owns the banner.
       
    • Created on:
      The date the banner record was created.
       
    • Dimension:
      The banner's width and height in pixels format.
       
    • Category:
      The banner's category.
       
    • Approval status:
      Displays the status of the banner. Whether it is approved, pending for approval by the administrator, or is rejected.
       
    • Status:
      The status of the banner: 'Active' for active banner, and 'Paused' for inactive banner.
       
    • Priority:
      The banner's priority or display weight. '1' indicates the least important banner. The banner will get the lowest display priority. '10' indicates the most important banner.
       
    • Media type:
      Displays the type of the banner. 'Standard' is for regular image based banner, and 'Rich' is for flash or HTML banner.
       
    • Keywords:
      If the banner is targeted for certain keywords, those keywords will appear here in list format.
       
       
  • The 'Broadcasting Campaigns' table lists all the advertising campaigns' IDs the banner currently attached to. You can view any of the listed campaigns here by selecting it and click the 'View selected Campaign' button. The message 'None available' will appears here if the banner is not attached to any campaigns.
     
     
  • The 'Activities' table displays the banner's current impressions, clicks, and CTR. If you want to view the statistical reports for the banner, click the 'View detailed Statistics' button.
     
     
  • The 'Details for standard banner ' table displays the common details a standard media banner. Its rows represent:
     
    • Image URL:
      Displays the exact URL to the banner's image.
       
    • Target URL:
      Displays the exact location of the target page for the banner. It can be a webpage or an email address.
       
    • Alternate text:
      Displays the descriptive text of the banner. Anyone using browsers with disabled image viewing option will see this text instead of the banner's image. This text will also appears when the mouse cursor is placed briefly on the banner's image.
       
    • Description:
      Displays the additional descriptive text for the banner. This text will appears hyperlinked under the banner when broadcasted.
       
    • Status bar text:
      Displays the descriptive text that will be shown in the browser's status bar when anyone hovers their mouse cursors on the banner. It is primarily used for additional description for the banner and for masking the actual target URL.
       
       
  • The 'Details for rich media banner' table displays the actual codes for a rich media banner. Except for any '<TRACKCODE1>' and '<TRACKCODE2>' tags, any characters in this text area will be displayed directly with no modification when broadcasting.
     
    Any '<TRACKCODE1>' tags will be substituted automatically with AdvertisementManager's tracking URL, complete with 'A HREF' tags when broadcasting.
     
    For '<TRACKCODE2>' tags, it will be substituted automatically with AdvertisementManager's tracking URL, without the 'A HREF' tags.
     
    This enables a trackable clicks for customized rich media banner.
     
    You can preview how the actual banner will looks like by clicking the 'Preview this HTML codes' hyperlink in this table.
     

There are 7 form buttons for the banner. Their functions are listed below:

  • Pending:
    This button appears if the banner is already approved. Click this button to switch back the banner to pending for approval status.
     
  • Approve:
    This button appears if the banner is not already approved, or if your advertiser has made some changes to it that requires your approval again. Click this button to approve the banner.
     
  • Reject
    Click this button to reject the banner. If rejected, the banner's display status will always be 'Paused' or inactive.
     
  • Clone:
    You can use this button to clone or copy the banner's details to a new banner.
     
  • Edit:
    You can use this button to update the banner's details.
     
  • Delete:
    You can use this button to delete the banner from the database. This button will forward you to the 'Delete Banner' page where you'll need to confirm the deletion process.
     
  • Finish:
    You can use this button to exit this page and go back to the previous page.
