This page enables you to add a new advertiser into your AdvertisementManager's database. There are 5 tables in this page and their functions are listed below:

  • The 'Contact Information' table holds the basic contact data of your advertiser. Its rows represent:
     
    • First name:
      Your advertiser's first name. This field is required if you intend to enable statistics mailing for this advertiser.
       
    • Last name:
      You advertiser's last name.
       
    • Contact email:
      Your advertiser's main email address. This address will be used to send your advertiser's statistics emails or advertising invoices.
       
    • Company:
      Your advertiser's company name.
       
    • Site URL:
      Your advertiser's main site URL.
       
    • Address line 1:
      Your advertiser's street address. This field, along with 'Address line 2', 'City', 'State', 'Zipcode', 'Country', 'Phone', and 'Fax' will be used in creating your advertiser's invoices. You can skip these fields if you don't intend to send your advertiser any invoices.
       
    • Address line 2:
      If any.
       
    • City:
      Your advertiser's city name.
       
    • State:
      Your advertiser's state name.
       
    • Zipcode:
      Your advertiser's zipcode.
       
    • Country:
      Your advertiser's country name.
       
    • Phone:
      Your advertiser's primary contact phone number.
       
    • Fax:
      Your advertiser's primary fax number
       
    • Note:
      Any simple notes you might want to add for your advertiser.
       

     
  • The 'Login Details' table holds your advertiser's login data. Your advertiser will use this data to login anytime to check their account's status. Its rows represent:
     
    • Advertiser name:
      This will be your advertiser's account name. Please use a short but descriptive name for it so that it can be self-explanatory and easy to remember. You can use up to 25 alphanumeric characters.
       
    • Password:
      Together with the account's name above, your advertiser will use this password to login. Just like the above, you can use up to 25 alphanumeric characters for this value.
       
    • Password verify:
      This value needs to be the same as the above 'Password'.
       

     
  • The 'Account Limitations' table controls how many banners, text ads, and trackers your advertiser can have. These values will only be used when your advertiser creates any new banners, text ads, or trackers. However, the administrator can create any number of banners, text ads, or trackers for any advertisers. These values are completely ignored for administrator. If you want to enable your advertiser to create unlimited banners, text ads, or trackers, set each of these values to 0.
     
     
  • The 'Email Preferences' table controls how your advertiser will receive any statistics emails or advertising invoices:
     
    • Receive email:
      Select whether you want to your advertiser to receive any emails or not.
       
    • Email format:
      If the above is set to 'Yes', you can specify here in what format your advertiser's email will be.
       
    • Email stats:
      You can select how frequent your advertiser can receive statistics emails. The selections are 'Never' (for none), 'Everyday', 'Once a week', and 'Once a month'.
       
    • Stats location:
      You can specify the location of the statistical data that will be emailed to your advertiser. The selections are "Within email's body" (the data will be inserted within the email body), 'As .csv file attachment' (the data will be packed in .csv file format and attached to the email), and 'As .txt file attachment' (same as the former, only in .txt file format).
       

     
  • The 'Account Permissions' table enables you to specify exactly how the system will handle your advertiser's activities. The settings are:
     
    • Logs all impressions for this advertiser:
      If you don't want to log any ad impressions for your advertiser, uncheck this option.
       
    • Logs all clicks for this advertiser:
      This option enables logging of all clicks made to your advertiser's banners, text ads, and trackers.
       
    • Advertiser can view impressions count:
      You can block your advertiser from seeing any ad impressions by uncheck this option.
       
    • Advertiser can view clicks count:
      Similar to the above, only this option controls ad clicks.
       
    • Advertiser can self-updates their profile:
      This option gives your advertiser permission to update their account's details anytime through their own logins.
       
    • Advertiser can alter statistics emailing schedule/format:
      This option grants your advertiser the ability to control all the settings in the 'Email Preferences' table.
       
    • Advertiser can view campaigns:
      This option allows your advertiser to view the details of any campaigns.
       
    • Advertiser can add new banners:
      This option allows your advertiser to create new banners.
       
    • Pre-approve new banners created by advertiser:
      Any banners created by your advertiser will be approved and activated automatically if this option is enabled.
       
    • Advertiser can view banners:
      This option allows your advertiser to view the details of any banners.
       
    • Advertiser can edit banners:
      This option allows your advertiser to update any available banners.
       
    • Advertiser can delete banners:
      This option allows your advertiser to permanently delete any available banners.
       
    • Advertiser can activate/paused banners:
      Your advertiser can activate or deactivate any banners anytime if this option is enabled.
       
    • Advertiser can add new text ads:
      This option allows your advertiser to create new text ads.
       
    • Pre-approve new text ads created by advertiser:
      Any text ads created by your advertiser will be approved and activated automatically if this option is enabled.
       
    • Advertiser can view text ads:
      This option allows your advertiser to view the details of any text ads.
       
    • Advertiser can edit text ads:
      This option allows your advertiser to update any available text ads.
       
    • Advertiser can delete text ads:
      This option allows your advertiser to permanently delete any available text ads.
       
    • Advertiser can activate/paused text ads:
      Your advertiser can activate or deactivate any text ads anytime if this option is enabled.
       
    • Advertiser can add new trackers:
      This option allows your advertiser to create new trackers.
       
    • Pre-approve new trackers created by advertiser:
      Any trackers created by your advertiser will be approved and activated automatically if this option is enabled.
       
    • Advertiser can view trackers:
      This option allows your advertiser to view the details of any trackers.
       
    • Advertiser can edit trackers:
      This option allows your advertiser to update any available trackers.
       
    • Advertiser can delete trackers:
      This option allows your advertiser to permanently delete any available trackers.
       
    • Advertiser can activate/paused trackers:
      Your advertiser can activate or deactivate any trackers anytime if this option is enabled.
       

When you finished entering all the above values, click the 'Add Advertiser' button to confirm the creation of the new advertiser record. If you want to cancel the creation of the new advertiser record, click the 'Cancel' button, and you'll be brought back to the previous page.
