  1. What is the advertiser?
    The advertiser is an individual or organization whose purchasing your website's advertising inventories.
     
  2. What is the area?
    The area is a position where you'll be displaying banners on each of your webpages. One webpage can has multiple broadcasting areas and one broadcasting area can be applies to multiple webpages. An area also defines which banners can be broadcsted through it because it has individual dimension and category settings. Only banners with matching settings as the area's can be broadcasted.
     
  3. What is the campaign?
    The campaign acts as an inventory placeholder for each and every banners or text ads. By using the campaign you can control all the limitations for running a controlled banner or text ad advertising task. These limitations can be:
     
    • maximum impressions: amount of views all the advertiser's banners or text ads can get
    • maximum clickthrus: amount of clicks all the advertiser's banners or text ads can get
    • starting date: date to begin displaying the banners or text ads
    • ending date: date to stop the banners or text ads broadcasting
    • day of week constrains: controls which day the banners or text ads can be displayed
    • hourly constrains: controls which hour the banners or text ads can be displayed

    A campaign can holds as many banners or text ads as you needed. These banners can be in different format and dimensions.

     
  4. What is the banner?
    The banner defines each of the advertiser's art or content used for communicating advertiser's messages to your web visitors. The most commonly used banners are in dimension (pixel width times pixel height):
     
    • 468 x 60
    • 400 x 40
    • 234 x 60
    • 230 x 33
    • 125 x 125
    • 120 x 600
    • 120 x 240
    • 120 x 90
    • 120 x 60
    • 88 x 31

    AdvertisementManager can supports all the above dimensions plus any of your custom dimensions. A banner can be in:
     
    • standard media: common graphic file format, commonly in .gif format
    • rich media: can be in programming format (HTML, java, javascript, or VB codes), flash animations, plain graphics or any or all of the combination of those format. Rich media formatted banners are known for their additional interactivities and attractiveness to web visitors.
       
  5. What is the text ad?
    The text ad functions similar to the banner only it is in the form of regular text links.
     
  6. What is the tracker?
    The tracker is used when you want to find out how many clicks certain links are receiving. You can apply the trackers for any links, both image or text based. But unlike the text ad, the tracker don't records impressions and it can't be rotated.
     
  7. What is the relationship between them?
    Each banner or text ad that will be broadcasted must be attached to one or more campaigns for grouping and broadcast's limitations control. These campaigns in turns must also be attached to one or more areas to enable actual broadcasting placements. The advertiser is the one who initiates the broadcasting tasks.
