This page enables you to add a new advertising rate into your AdvertisementManager's database. There are 2 tables in this page and their functions are listed below:
- The 'Rate Details' table defines the new rate's details. Its rows represent:
-
Rate name:
Specify your rate's name here. Please use a short but descriptive name for it so that it can be self-explanatory and easy to remember. You can use up to 35 alphanumeric characters, including spaces.
-
Rate type:
Select your rate's type here. There are 4 types to choose from:
-
CPM:
Cost Per Thousand: Any campaigns that use this rate as the billing rate will be billed by multiplying this rate's value with every 1000 impressions each campaign has generated.
-
CPC:
Cost Per Click: Any campaigns that use this rate as the billing rate will be billed by multiplying this rate's value with every click each campaign has generated.
-
FIXED [DAY]:
Any campaigns that use this rate as the billing rate will be billed by multiplying this rate's value with every day each campaign has been active.
-
FIXED [DAY]:
Similar to the above, except each campaign will be billed for every 1 month.
-
Fixed inventory:
You can specify the fixed amount of impressions, clicks, days, or months (according to the rate's type) to bill any campaigns that use this rate. This value is useful if you're selling fixed inventory advertising such as the newsletter or ezine ad spots. Leave this value to '0' (zero) for none.
-
Rate value:
Specify the rate's value here. This value also supports 2 decimal places.
- The 'Default Broadcasting Areas' table contains all the broadcasting areas you currently have. You can select any of these areas to be the new rate's default area. These areas will be applied automatically to your advertisers' campaigns when your advertisers purchase the selected rate.
Each of the areas is hyperlinked so you can directly view any of the areas' details just by clicking it.
When you finished entering all the above values, click the 'Add this Rate!' button to confirm the creation of the new rate. If you want to cancel the creation of the new rate record, click the 'Cancel' button, and you'll be brought back to the previous page.
