-

-
Target URL:
Enter the location of the target page for the text ad. This value has a maximum length of 255 characters. A 'mailto:' tag is also supported so you can redirect the visitor to any email addresses (with pre-filled subject line) instead of standard webpage.
-
Status bar text:
The value in this field will be shown in the browser's status bar when anyone hovers their mouse cursor on the text ad. It is primarily used for additional description for the text ad and for masking the actual target URL. This field is optional.
-
Text body:
Enter the actual text ad you want to display to your visitors here. This value has a maximum length of 255 characters. You can use 2 of the AdvertisementManager's predefined tags, '<TRACKCODE1>' and '<TRACKCODE2>' tags here.
Any '<TRACKCODE1>' tags will be substituted automatically with AdvertisementManager's tracking URLs, complete with 'A HREF' tags when broadcasting.
For '<TRACKCODE2>' tags, it will be substituted automatically with AdvertisementManager's tracking URLs, without the 'A HREF' tags.
- The 'Keyword Targeting' table enables you to target the text ad to certain keywords. You can specify multiple keywords. Separate each keyword with a comma. Each keyword must not exceed 50 characters.
- The 'Broadcasting Campaigns' table lists all available campaigns for the selected advertiser. You can attach the text ad to any campaigns in this table by checking their checkboxes. All the campaignIDs in this table are hyperlinked so if you need you can view their details just by clicking them.
When you finished entering all the above values, click the 'Add this Text!' button to confirm the creation of the new text ad. If you want to change the owner of the text ad, click the '< Back' button and reselect the advertiser from the advertiser dropdown list box. If you want to cancel the creation of the new text ad, click the 'Cancel' button, and you'll be brought back to the previous page.
